Hello there neighbors,
As excited as I am to show you my chart on passive and aggressive anger and how to become a more assertive person, I cannot this week. Work is a mile high and sometimes, we gotta not kill ourselves to create after hours. How does the saying go?
Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is take a nap.
Whoever said this does not have a JOB or KIDS or THINGS TO DO. I’m definitely not napping but I did choose to watch Housewives of Beverly Hills last night while eating Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp from Cheesecake Factory and got in bed by ten. Needed that - thanks for your understanding.
Can’t wait to connect next week. Have an amazing weekend. Hope you can get a nap and if not, maybe some take out and a good show? Yoga and a green juice? Bunko with good friends?
Whatever it is, enjoy your neighborhood, your people, and yourself. You’re a wonder and I’m glad you’re here. Happy Friday!
Love,
Ashley
I snapped this photo while driving my daughter until she fell asleep.
I was reminded of the Mary Oliver poem Yes! No! Here’s a snippet:
"How important it is to walk along, not in haste but slowly,
looking at everything and calling out…Imagination is better than a sharp instrument.
To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work."
Amen - bless you dear friends. See you next Thursday.
I love this so much. Proud of you. This is its own kind of perseverance. xoxo
