Our team filmed in Reese Witherspoon’s Nashville event space and it was gorgeous. I nearly died over all the illustrated fiction books framed on the walls (and dream of having my own there one day!) Qava is an organization devoted to the doubters, the outsiders, the folks on the margins of community, so when they approached me to do this, I said yes. Granted, it took a few conversations and months of processing to make sure they weren’t business as usual in the Christian media space — I’m delighted to report that they are not. What a beautiful experience with their team — I look forward to building more in the future!
