I'm tall, too! And one of the reasons I hate(d) the dance floor. ... Christmas feels...different. And it makes me want to do something different. I'm over tradition (except the decorations, music and the movies!) But I can do without the usual gatherings and fixings. Boo to turkey and stuffing. Give me a beach OR lots of snow with a modern cabin and prime rib and such. ... The incoming administration is cringy ... I'm going to miss Beth and Jimmy. I hear Lioness and Landman are really good. Dear Ashley, I appreciate you talking to your audience about how difficult holidays can be. I don't think it's appropriate however, to assume that all of us are upset about the chosen president. Most of us (most of the country) decided that he was the best candidate and are very happy about it.
Lupita, sometimes words get lost in long-form reading/writing. Here's what I wrote: "many of you..." and "many evangelicals". I did not write "all of us". For the record, Trump won just under 50% of the votes so it is split down the middle between Trump and Harris + independent candidates, so it is not statistically accurate to say that "most of the country" is happy about it. Finally, please refrain from telling me what you think is appropriate on my website. You don't have to like it but none of it is inappropriate.
